Plein Air Exhibit July 16-August 21

The public is invited to choose their favorite painting for the Jerry Schardin People’s Choice Award sponsored by Gail Schardin. Gail will make the presentation of $50 at the end of the exhibit once all the ballots are counted.

Thank you to Ann Schwartz for coordinating the Quick Draw Competition at the Riverwood HealthCare Healing Garden and to Dennis Fairchild for bringing in a selection of his western antiques for props for the artists. Thank you to Riverwood for sharing their beautiful gardens for the painters to enjoy. Thank you to Ann Hutchings, who once again was the reception hostess.

Judges for the event were Julia Real, Amy Sharpe and Cherie Holm, all of Aitkin. A special thank you Barden R. Heft, who played a major role in organizing the event and hanging the exhibit.

All paintings will be for sale and JAC members receive a 10% discount on cash/check purchases. Paintings may be taken at the time of purchase or picked up at the end of the exhibit.
